Sharing Life Experiences: A Journey of Growth
Hello and welcome!
This is where I will share my life experiences with you. I chose to do this, not because I feel that my life is so much more interesting than yours, but because I love to learn about the life experiences of others. I think we each have interesting stories to share.
What inspired me to share my thoughts and stories is the fact that some of my friends have come to me with specific questions and concerns. Let me be clear, I am neither a therapist nor a counselor. But our conversations have helped my friends, and have helped me grow as well. So, I decided to begin sharing my experiences in case they might inspire you in some way as well.
Some of my friends think of me as a gentle soul…until they get in a car with me! Then all bets are off! Sorry! I have very little tolerance for poor driving. I also have to admit that this “gentle soul” impression is a new one, even to myself!
I will be writing about these experiences and hope that you, the readers, will share your thoughts and reactions in return. I am open to sharing experiences or thoughts on any specific topic that you might be interested in exchanging. Sometimes, I may not have any helpful thoughts, and I will freely admit that at the time.
The beauty of life is that we always learn and evolve. We are born innocent and pure. Then, we learn about our environments, behaviors, and rewards and, there goes the innocence. So, as soon as we are aware of who we (think) we are, it is up to each of us to grow our consciousness as well. I am one of the fortunate individuals who, I believe, has grown spiritually and has become aware of this growth along the way. This is a long journey for us all. But, one definitely worth taking!
